  • Who should attend the conference?
    The Milestones National Autism Conference is the nation’s must-attend event for educators, administrators, therapists, clinicians, adult providers, medical practitioners, family members, caregivers and autistic individuals. Please note that childcare is not available at our conference.
  • How do I register?
    The 2024 Conference is over, but we look forward to seeing you in 2025!
  • What types of sessions will be available at the conference?
    We offer a variety of sessions at our conference for family members, autistic individuals and professionals. Many of our sessions are approved for continuing education credits too! We will post information about our 2025 sessions in late 2024.
  • How can I see a roster of speakers at this year’s conference?
    A full list of conference speakers and their session specifics, as well as session titles and descriptions, will be available once our 2025 conference details are announced. Check back for more information in early 2025!
  • Why should professionals attend the conference?
    World-class speakers provide sessions on the most current research-based strategies and behavioral techniques, giving professionals the unique opportunity to advance their knowledge. The conference offers CEUs in 12 different disciplines and attendees can often meet their continuing education requirements for an entire year by attending just one conference. With more than 75 sessions to choose from, professionals are able to find content that will support them in serving their patients, clients and students. The conference also affords opportunities for networking with colleagues and clients.
  • Why should family members attend the conference?
    Our conference enables family members to choose from a wide variety of session topics to learn practical strategies for meeting and exceeding the challenges of autism. Learning “what works” from national and local experts can improve outcomes for children of all ages. The conference connects parents and caregivers to hundreds of trusted autism resources and to other families like their own.
  • Why should autistic individuals attend the conference?
    Autistic individuals benefit from their own specially-designed series of session topics, such as transitioning to college, enhancing social skills, learning how to advocate for oneself, and succeeding in the work environment. Milestones offers support to autistic attendees seeking assistance selecting sessions best suited to their interests.   • Is childcare available?
    The conference is designed for older teens and adults who can attend sessions and engage with the material being presented. Childcare is not provided.
  • Do you offer scholarships?
    Scholarships are no longer available for the 2024 conference.
  • I registered for the conference, and I am now unable to use my registration. Can I transfer my registration to another person or cancel it?
    Cancellations or transfers will be accepted in writing to register@milestones.org.You may transfer your registration to a different person free of charge. Cancellations through May 31 will be granted a full refund. Cancellations from June 1 through June 9 are subject to an administrative charge of 20% of your registration fee. If you are granted a scholarship and your plans change so you are no longer able to use it, please notify us at scholarship@milestones.org as soon as possible so we can make the scholarship funds available to others. A full refund will be granted through June 9, 2024. Scholarship registrations are non-transferable.
